3: SPEARFISHING – Bay Of Plenty

We dive the bay of plenty including Mayor island, White Island, Motiti Island, Astrolabe reef and a few other places.
Groups of 6 or 7 divers arrive on a Saturday and stay until the next Saturday.
We dive the best 5 days of the week.
We supply a house, lunch on the boat and a guide in the water to assist or teach.
We take one kingfish per day per diver as well as snapper, trevally, pink mao mao, kahawai, butterfish and many others.
We don’t kill fish for burly and all frames are passed out to the local community for dinner so nothing is wasted.
Divers are welcome to keep all their fish.
